MEET YOUR HOST

Hi, I’m Holly Howe!

I’m a fermentation teacher and the author of Mouthwatering Sauerkraut [+Kimchi].

My fermentation journey began in 2001, when I made my first batch of sauerkraut. What started as a simple jar of cabbage and salt grew into a lifelong passion for the flavor, nourishment, and everyday magic of fermentation.

Over the years, fermentation has transformed the way I eat, cook, and think about food. It has shown me how simple ingredients, guided by healthy bacteria, can become bold, delicious, nutrient-rich foods that support gut health and bring joy to the table.

As your summit host, I’m excited to bring together trusted fermentation experts to share their favorite recipes, techniques, and practical tips. From sauerkraut to quick kimchi, fermented fruit to herbal sodas, you’ll discover how to make flavorful ferments at home while easing common worries about safety, mold, and doing it wrong.

Join us and start your fermentation journey today!

I’d love to have you join us.
